Thanks to your generosity through donations, events, and raffles, we are excited to share that we have raised $13,950 toward our $65,000 goal to build Kusina ng Bayan, the Community’s Kitchen! Reaching this important milestone means that we are ready to begin repairs on the kitchen ceiling this January. This is a major step that brings us to reopening a space that will nourish our community. Our goal is to complete the kitchen by June, and every contribution brings that vision closer to reality!
As work continues, keep an eye out for upcoming programs, events, and volunteer days to help us cross the finish line. Plans include:
– Monthly game nights to build community and raise funds
– A Karaoke Valentine’s event, led by talented singers from our own community
– Food drives and cultural events
…And more ways to come together in the spirit of bayanihan!
