Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Dumog are both martial arts disciplines with rich histories and unique techniques, despite originating from different parts of the world. Gabriel “Gab” Clarito (he/him)
Gab started his martial arts journey at a young age at Degerberg Academy and achieved a brown belt in the blend program. Gab then started his grappling career in 2009 at New Breed Academy. Gab received his black belt under Mark Vives in 2019. He is a IBJJF Chicago open champion at purple and black belt and a silver and bronze medalist at the Asia open at Brown belt. Gab believes that life is a continuous journey of exploration and discovery, He always needs to know how things work.

Nikolai “Niko” Luna (he/him)
Niko was first exposed to grappling while serving in the US Army. He earned the rank of Sergeant and was an instructor at the Joint Readiness Training Center in Louisiana. After completing his military service, Niko began training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2008. He has been teaching since2011 and was promoted to black belt by Mark Vives in December 2019. Niko is also a multiple time IBJJF medalist in events across the country. He believes that everyone succeeds when you make each other better.

Patrick Luna (he/him)
Patrick was first exposed to grappling and martial arts after high school while informally training with one of his friends, who was a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the time. Patrick’s formal training began in 2009. He has experience teaching and assisting with classes at all levels and age groups ranging from kids to adults and is currently a brown belt under Mark Vives at New Breed Training Center. Patrick is a multiple time IBJJF medalist as well as a Fight 2 Win Pro veteran. He is a firm believer that luck is when preparation meets opportunity.
