Featuring: Dr. Peter Stover

Dr. Peter S.T. Stover is an educator, artist, ethnographer, and transformational leader and coach. Half-Filipino, born in Tacloban City, Philippines, and raised in small towns across Michigan and Colorado, he harnesses human potential through creative, collaborative, experiential learning that fosters mutual growth of both teacher and student. Driven to address the world’s numerous contemporary crises, he has spent several decades documenting the creative cultures emerging from the evolution of electronic music across the globe. Now based in Chicago, his work explores the intersection of identity, creativity, and greater possibilities- bridging ancient Filipino cosmological concepts with contemporary life in ways that support the expansion of consciousness and collective healing.

Peter is one of the 15 filipino-american artists in Chicago who have their art currently on display at the Rizal Community Center. Exhibit runs until September 13.
