HOPE Campaign at the Rizal Center: Empowering Our Community

Join us at the Rizal Center for the HOPE Campaign, which offers various health programs to enhance our community’s well-being.

How You Can Participate:
  • Get Free Screenings: Access FREE breast and cervical cancer screenings through our referral program, supported by the Asian Health Coalition. Ongoing outreach and educational sessions happening at the Rizal Center and various locations through June 2025. Want us to present to your group? Contact: mdlant@yahoo.com
  • Sign Up for Research Studies: Participate in the MOSAAIC study to help address health issues in Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. Incentives are available for Filipinos aged 18 to 64. Ready to start? Answer the survey to check your eligibility for the MOSAAIC Study HERE.
  • Engage with Community ProgramsLots of Love: Support Filipino American elders and combat isolation through community engagement. EVERY WEDNESDAY join us for BINGO & KAPIHAN from 11am to 3pm.
    Integrated Arts Program: Join us for multigenerational art and storytelling. Community Arts Partner CIRCA Pintig helping to host several arts-integrated community workshops that are free and open, visit here to learn more.
  • Collaborate on Health Initiatives: Work with students from Midwestern University for tailored therapeutic services.

The Rizal Center is a hub for our Filipino American community—a space for support, culture, and connection.

This event is part of the programming for CIRCA Pintig in collaboration with the Rizal Center and sponsored by the Illinois Humanities Road Scholars Speakers Bureau. This cross-generational space is open to everyone! 

Community meal and open mic to follow the storytelling workshop, this event is FREE and open to the public.
