Michael Del Valle is a Filipino-American visual artist based in Illinois whose work blends abstract, tribal, and minimalistic styles. Known for his distinctive mixed media art, Michael creates pieces that explore identity, heritage, and the human experience. He draws inspiration from Native American and Japanese cultures, his love of music, and his life. His artistic career began in 1998 when he showcased his first piece at Kindred Spirit, Waves Apart, a group exhibition sponsored by the Filipino American Historical Society of Chicago and held at the Philippine Consulate. He sold his first artwork at the Dix Mix Art Gallery four years later, marking an important milestone. Since then, his art has been featured at festivals, coffeehouses, and restaurants in the Chicagoland area. Michael holds a degree in Graphic Design from the American Academy of Art and continues to create impactful, meaningful work within the art community.
