Our Story in Color: Rizal Center Mural Community Conversation

Join us at the Rizal Center for a special community conversation as we begin work on a new two-story mural in partnership with SINAG. The mural will celebrate the history and journey of Filipinos in Chicago—honoring roots in the Philippines while highlighting the unique stories of our immigrant families here.
At this event, the artist team will present the proposed mural design and invite your thoughts and feedback. This project is meant to reflect the voices and experiences of the community, and your input will help shape the final work.
When: Wednesday, August 27, 10–11 AM
Where: Bayanihan Hall + Livestream via Zoom
