Landscapes / Cityscapes

Local Filipina American artist, Tita Recometa-Brady*, in celebration of her
singular creativity. “Landscapes / Cityscapes” shows a different side to Recometa-Brady’s artistry, distinct from the realistic and figurative paintings she exhibited in MORE THAN LUMPIA and at the Rizal Center. Themes of the Sun as the silent witness to the takeover of Lands, and their eventual
transformation into Cities are explored through several paintings which seek to examine the possibilities of “progress” and its effects on the natural environment.
